Wouldn't it be nice to enjoy your Florida vacation without a car rental?
The Greenlight Pinellas Plan has recently been endorsed by the Belleair Bluffs city commission.
While the Greenlight Pinellas Plan is a hottly contested issue in St. Petersburg, FL., the plan would certainly improve transportation for vacationers and tourists in the St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Clearwater, FL areas.
It’s possible and even preferred to visit most major cities and tourist attractions without a car. When you visit NY City, you can easily catch a but from the airport to your hotel, or somewhere very close.
Imagine visiting Florida for a beach vacation, taking a bus from the airport, directly to your hotel or beach front condo. Restaurants, shopping, and things to do are all reasonably close to beachfront condo rentals in Sand Key, FL. With the Greenlight Pinellas Plan in place a quick bus ride would be all you need to go anywhere in the Tampa Bay area while on vacation.
Editors Note on Bus Transportation to TPA
Currently on May 1, 2014, there is no easy way to take a bus from Tampa International Airport to the St. Petersburg, FL beaches. We can only hope that the residents of Pinellas County, FL will see the benefits to tourism and residential lifestyle, and vote to Greenlight Pinellas.
